Construction Takeoffs

All estimates requests require drawings, sketches, photos, specifications and scope of work. We only work with electronic files that can be sent via email or any other electronic format.The only way we can be of service to you, our valued client, is to have all the drawings and specifications in hand to prepare our estimates. We work with subcontractors, remodelers, commercial builders, home builders and architects, or any entities in the construction business.

We have a number of repeat clients and all incoming work has to be incorporated into our scheduling. Based on your input, we schedule your project for estimating at the earliest possible opening. Accurate information sent to us assures you of an accurate estimating report returned to you with minimal wait time and great service. With proper details estimate turn around time for your project can be 24 hours or less.

Cost Estimating

The Estimating process is thorough, affordable, and timely!

Our standard process includes:

- Read and understand the Scope of work.

- Takeoff of all subdivision you want to bid on.

- Special attention to Specifications and highlight the important points.

- Perform Unit Prices Analysis for every item. Our experience permits assumption of real hourly / crew / production and use of equipment. If the work we are going to do is something not in our breath of knowledge, we investigate and establish a real production and provide a report on how we got to that cost.

- Provide an easy to read and editable template via excel to work with you in the final price after you tell us your material pricing from your providers.

- We will apply your overhead cost and profit to get the final bid proposal.

- Our final report includes a complete set of Takeoff Plans, Highlighted Specifications, Unit Prices and Proposals in PDF format.

Once takeoff and real unit prices are established and the material prices are updated along, with equipment and indirect costs, we are ready to do the final

BID PROPOSAL.

ABOUT

I have been in the Construction Business since 1983 after completing my studies in Civil Engineering. When I immigrated to USA in 1993, I continued working in the industry as a drafter, an on site supervisor, and a masonry estimator. I have also served as a concrete and drywall project manager.

In 2000, I saw the necessity of an ESTIMATOR for small subcontractors that without full time professionals in their payroll. The service has been welcomed and I have worked with many Subs for the last 18 years, starting with the takeoff, proposal, field work, and payment application up until closing the contract.
